Querying adventures

I am querying ISMENE AND THE VOICE! It's a strange, unrewarding process, but I'm going to move forward anyway. I have to do at least that.

The gist: Working-class book-lover in a capitalist hellscape tries to escape and join sentient starship/castle in a transhuman partnership, or be arrested and lose access to its library forever. Themes of found family and doing what one can, with what the author considers comfortingly transhuman (post-human?) elements.

I'm a little uncertain about pitch parties at this point; it looks like Pitmad died, and people seem to be abandoning Twitter. It's difficult to tell whether it's worth running social media accounts (so far, they've been entirely a matter of shouting into the void, which means time spent on them is time spent making money for someone else) but I may need to check out Threads and Instagram on the regular to see if there's any way to attract attention there.

Onward. I guess I've just got to keep going.
